Group 1 Ally, Aaron, Andy, Abby, Abe- Heart
1. What can we do to keep our (heart) healthy?
- Eating healthy is important so that the blood wont have a lot of fat to clog the arteries. We need to breath a lot of oxygen so the heart can pump more blood to the body.
2. What does the (heart) do?
-The heart pumps blood to the lungs to pick up oxygen then pumps the blood with oxygen to the rest of the body.
3. Write three interesting facts you learned about the (heart).
- The heart has four chambers.
-The heart has many valves
- The human heart is only about the size of a fist.
4. Fill in the blank. If I smoked and ate fatty foods my (heart) would get damaged.
5. The (heart) is the most important body part because....it pumps blood to the whole body and without blood we would die.
